Because it is the start of the term, we have started a new writing challenge. Every week we have a random topic. We write a well constructed and descriptive paragraph about this topic. We have a one week deadline.

Cricket Poem

This weeks English topic has been poetry. This was my favourite poem out of all the ones we read, mainly because it was about cricket. The other reason I liked this one was because I find it funny and enjoyably to read.
 

This week we have been looking at Matariki. I made a google drawing showing the 9 stars. Do you think you could name all of them without looking at a chart? Because I couldn't.
